Our Next Just for Fun is Saturday September 25th 2010
For starters

Fresh Prawn and AvocadoTartlet.
Light filo pastry filled with creamy Mascarpone Cheese, fresh Prawns and Avocado on a bed of baby Spinach with a Raspberry vinegar dressing.

Fresh fish Hors D'Oeuvre. A Delicious selection of Galloway Smokehouse Smoked Salmon, Poached Salmon and Prawns, on a bed of frissee  and radichio lettuce.

Pate de compagne. A chunky farmhouse pate of pork and chicken. Served with a crisp salad and Apricot Chutney.

Grierson's Black Pudding on a bed of curly lettuce and vine tomato, topped with crispy smoked bacon and a creme Fraiche dressing.

Cream of Tomato and Fresh Basil Soup, served with fresh Crusty French Bread.

Chicken Breast.
Fresh chicken fillet, stuffed full of creamy ripe brie and then wrapped with smoked bacon and served with a cranberry reduction.

Salmon Steak.
Lovely salmon fillet encased in filo pastry, with a creamy Tarragon Sauce.

10 oz Prime Sirloin Steak.
Prime Local Sirloin Steak grilled to yourtaste with saute mushrooms and tomatoes - served with fresh crispy chips and salad if you wish.

Prime Local Venison.
Local organic venison casseroled with port, red wine and juniper berries, deliciously melt in the mouth. Served with creamy mash.

Escalope of Pork.
Pork fillet served with a Bramley Apple and Calvados sauce over a bed of fluffy rice.

Mushroom, Chestnut and Redwine Encrout.
Fresh button mushroom gently fried with onions, red wine and chestnuts encased with puff pastry and cooked in the oven until crisp.
Today's selection of Potatoes and fresh Vegetables.

Caroline's Cheesecake.
A light baked cheesecake toppped with fresh Scottish Strawberries and Ginger.
Fresh Fruits of the Forest Creme Brulee.
Lovely light Creme Brulee served with a Raspberry Coulis and Vanilla Shortbread.

Ringford Mess.
You have heard of Eton Mess Well!!
Meringue, Fruits of the Forest, Lots of Kirsch and thick whipped cream - heaven!

Rich Dark Chocolate and Brandy Mousse, served with a crunchy biscuit and Coconut Ice Cream.

A Bowl of Cream O'Galloway Ice Cream.
Choose from sticky Toffee, Strawberry, Double Chocolate or Vanilla.

Luscious Lemon Tart.
A devine light pastry case filled to the brim with a lemon filling, served with a Raspberry Coulis and a dollop of fresh whippped cream.

Fromage!

Some of our favourite Cheese with Celery, Grapes and crackers.
