David and Caroline of Galloway Country Cottages are delighted to announce our new 4 star rated properties.For the first time at Barend Holiday Village, Galloway Country Cottages have two four star properties graded by Visit Scotland. We welcome back all customers to our very much updated properties. Thistle Dubh Lodge has had all the flooring renewed with solid oak and has a brand new kitchen with washing machine. Red Kite Lodge has been completely refurbished with a new downstairs kitchen/dining/lounge complete with leather suite. Upstairs is now the main lounge with leather suite and new patio doors overlooking Sandyhills Bay on the Solway Firth. The bathroom has been doubled in size and has a walk in shower. Kingfisher Lodge has had the makeover treatment as well with an en-suite bathroom to the upstairs double bedroom and now sleeps six for maximum comfort for our guests. | |||
