We have many years experience in the food industry in both retail - bakery, delicatessen, greengrocery and catering in restaurant, outside catering and sandwich operations. We are 100% hands on.

In the 4 years since we took over "The Old School Tearoom" we have totally modernised and upgraded not only the building, the decor, furnishings and furniture but also the food.

With an extensive menu and a board of daily dishes, everything is made on the premises. We cook our own hams, beef and chicken, make our extensive and much complimented range of cakes and desserts, we even make our own Cranberry Sauce.

Great food needs good service, not formal but friendly, relaxed and professional.

Part Time restaurant help.
Must have previous - preferably recent experience.
As we continue to build our business and particularly a very busy sunday lunch and Hi Tea trade. We need help on a sunday and initially one other day during the week.

Weekend and Holiday "young" person.
Al has been with us for three and a half years and in that time has expanded his role from "dishes and pots" to food prep, serving restaurant desserts and helping in the restaurant, as he nears end of school life nows the time for us to recruit and train someone to follow in hid footsteps!
HARD WORK - including emptying and washing the bins, cleaning the floors all to be done well to the best of your ability.

An above average rate of pay based on experience with a review after an initial four week trial period.
Working as part of a small team committed to achieving high standards.
Holidays up to 30 days paid holiday a year (including bank holidays) subject to full/part time status.
