Terms & ConditionsGalloway Country Cottages properties are also our 'homes' and we maintain them to a very high standard for your enjoyment and for those who follow you. Whilst we know and appreciate that accidents will always happen, the onus is on you as the occupier to maintain the property and fixtures in the condition it is handed over to you. In the event that damage is caused, we request that you contact us immediately to enable us to take the appropriate action. All Galloway Country Cottages property is let on a strictly "NO SMOKING" basis. Galloway Country Cottages recommend that holiday insurance cover be taken, particularly if you have children or pets in your party. In the event that serious damage is caused to the fabric or furnishings we will not hesitate to seek recompense through the Small Claims Court. Whilst Galloway Country Cottages welcome well behaved dogs in some of our properties, certain basic rules apply. We reserve the right, should we feel it necessary to request a refundable £100-00 Bond, this will be returned subject to no additional cleaning being necessary nor damage caused. Dogs should on no account be allowed upstairs or in the bedrooms, nor should they be left unattended. We expect that you will at all times have your dogs under control, on a lead whilst outside the property and that there will be no noise or fouling problem around the site. Galloway Country Cottages property is let to you for the agreed period of hire and for the number of guests stated on your booking form. We reserve the right to charge for additional guests, or in exceptional circumstances to refuse entry or cancel the hire without recompense. Neither Galloway Country Cottages nor the owner of the property will accept responsibility for any accident, injury or illness of any tenant. Nor responsibility for any loss or damage to tenants or visitors property including motor vehicles whilst on the site or land pertaining to that property. In the event that the property you have booked is not available due to circumstances outwith our control Galloway Country Cottages reserve the right to move your booking to a similar or better property. Should this not be possible all monies paid will be returned in full. In the event that you wish to cancel your booking you must inform us in writing without delay. It is a non refundable deposit.
